WILLARD J “BILL” PALMER age 81 of Brook Park passed away peacefully November 30, 2019 while surrounded by family. Bill is preceded in death by Carol, his beloved wife of 58 years. Loving father of Christine “Tina” (Scott) Raiff, Carleen “Carrie” (Steve) Kennedy, Phil “Mac” (Andrea Rocco), Patty Palmer, Shelly (Mark) Wolfinger, and Jen (Ray) Must. Dearest brother of John Palmer (deceased), Bob (Sally) Palmer, Judy (Tom)Grasson, Tom (Cheryl) Palmer, and Mary Palmer. Beloved Brother-in-law of Shirley (James) Schram, Jean (Bob) Pankuch, Rich (Marty) Brickman, Patty (Tom-deceased) Lawler, and Terry (Diana) Brickman. Cherished Grandfather of Doug (Kristi), Bill (Kathleen), Anthony, Elizabeth, Steve (Shanna), Chad (Hillary), Jill, Rob (Mirabela), Isabel, Jake, Sarah (Dan), Andrew, Kyle, Alyssa, Emma, Katelyn, Zack and Lexi. Great Grandfather of Chastity, Addy, Kendell, Jacob, Adam, Lilly, Carter, Abigail, Ella, Charlotte, and Amelia.

Veteran US Air Force. Bill is a proud 1956 graduate of St. Ignatius High School. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, and his quiet time on the swing in the backyard. He loved clambakes, a good game of pinochle, old classic movies, and vacations with his family and friends. He also loved all the Cleveland Sports Teams. Particularly the Tribe and the Browns. Bill witnessed first hand, the Brown’s win the ’64 Championship from his season ticket seats at the Old Municipal Stadium.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Bill’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday December 4, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, on Thursday at 9:30AM. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions to Hospice Services of Southwest General, 18697 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Hts., OH 44130.
