Babin, William “Bill,” age 82 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2011, while surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by Mildred, his beloved wife of 46 years. Loving father of Susan, William (Debra), Joe (Jackie), and John. Dear brother of Julius (Pam). Cherished grandfather of Rebecca (Greg) and Michael. Veteran US Army – Korean War. 27 year veteran of the Cleveland Fire Department.
The family will receive friends in celebration of William's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, with Parastas at 7:30PM. Friends may begin arriving at 9:30AM on Thursday at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, 8111 Brecksville Road, Brecksville OH, for 9:45 prayers. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
