Walter William Glaze age 85 of Newport Richey, Florida (Formerly of Stongsville) passed away suddenly September 14, 2019. Walter is preceded in death by his loving parents Walter and Ann. Walter is survived in life by Phyllis Comella, his beloved friend of 32 years. Loving father of Gary, Michael (deceased) (Sue), and baby Julie(deceased). Cherished grandfather to Tom and Michael (Missy). Great grandfather of Kenny, Zoey, and Grant. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to many.
Veteran US Navy.
In July of 2019 he proudly received his 40 year anniversary gold coin commemorating his sobriety.
The family will receive friends to Celebrate Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, OH on Thursday October 17, 2019 at 9:30AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
