Sensel, Thomas, age 64 of Brook Park, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2011. Loving husband of Gloria (nee Huff), his beloved wife of 41 years. Proud father of Thomas (Lisa), Nate (Marit), Amanda Sensel, and Adam (April). Dear brother of Linda Wokatey (deceased) and Allan (Rosemary) Sensel. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Thomas Jr., Jeremy, Nicholas, Hannah, Anthony, and Matthew. Uncle of Ken, Denise, Jonathan, Joshua, and Lee. Veteran US Navy.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Thomas' life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City OK 73123-1718 and Disabled Veterans of America at PO Box 14301 Cincinnati OH 45250-0301 Attn: Gift Processing.

Gloria, my deepest condolences go out to you, I am truly sorry and pray for you during this time, I don't know what to say. God Bless You. Tom, Nate, Mandi and Adam, I was fortunate enough to know your father and learned a great deal from him, whether it was about life or troubleshooting a pool pump :) What stood out the most was how proud he was of the four of you and his seven grandchildren. Tom, Even though worked together for over a year, would you say we know each other well?....Each other's families? ...No. However,.. there are certain things about a person that 'hit' you and make you smile. Your no nonsense, practicality and straight to the point attitude was refreshing and and MANY times comical. You would talk so loud and passionately sometimes during calls I could hear you in 'stereo' [Tom did not sit far from me,...needed cotton in one ear. (Mike,... you are to blame for that as well:) Most likely learned from Tom] Tom, you will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Family, I am so saddened to hear of your loss. I pray all are comforted by the fact that Tom is now home which is the reward we all look forward to at the end of this journey called life. Everyone's journey is unique and though we may not understand, God does. Will continue to pray for comfort and peace.
