Sucku, Russell R., age 70 of Warren passed away peacefully on January 22, 2017 while surrounded by family. As a family man, Russell’s favorite pastimes were spent fishing, cycling, camping and making memories with his grandchildren and great grandchildren that will live in his and their hearts forever. Russell is survived in life by Jane (nee Hagan) his beloved wife of 52 years; Loving father of Faith (Allen) Dluhos and Tracey (Jeff) Brammer. Dear brother of Linda (John) Krasewicz and the following deceased: Delores (Joe) Mruk and Patricia (Jack) Mielnik. Cherished grandfather of Kara, Katrina, Kandace, John and Sara. Great grandfather of Madison, Kadelynn, Mason, Jaren and Kaleigh. GM Lordstown Plant retiree after 47 years of faithful service.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Russell’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Thursday, January 26th from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, 44142, on Friday at 9:30AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland OH 44113.

Although I haven't had much contact as adults, I have very fond memories of the time spent with Russ growing up on Grimsby Avenue. I'll always remember Russell for his great sense of wit and humor and unique personality. My deepest condolences on his passing. May god grant you the strength to endure such a great loss of husband, father, and companion. God Bless
