Christine and I both were touched by Rudy both through the PA program and as a neighbor for several years. In fact, one could say Rudy was somewhat responsible for us getting together. Christine came to my office at CCC after Rudy had given her class a "pop quiz". My "friend", Christine had not done well on the quiz so she stopped by looking to be consoled. We've been together ever since. Thanks Rudy and God Bless his family. Please know that he has touched literally thousands of PA's and SA's throughout this country and he will be remembered fondly and with respect. Jim and Christine Cribbins
Dear Duiker Family, I just wanted to offer my sincere condolences to your family at this time. May you be comforted and surrounded in the love of family and friends. I have also found the following passages very comforting as well. John 5:28,29 which speaks of the resurrection hope as well as Rev. 21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death forever. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts will bring your family comfort as well. Once again I am so sorry for your loss. Laura
Dear Mary and Duiker family: Please accept my deepest condolences. Rudy was a great teacher who was always dedicated to the success of his students. Many owe him a debt of gratitude for his determination to see the students succeed at Tri-C and as PAs or SAs. May the sorrow in your hearts be replaced by the warm light of your memories of this wonderful person. My best to you all Tony Miller
I would like you to know that I feel blessed to have had Rudy as a co-worker and a friend. He always knew what to say and we had ours share of laughs and tears. His heart was large, even though he sometimes pretended to be tough. He didn't fool me. I know he will be helping all of you now, and I just hope he has the time to help me too. I truly thought the world of him. Please take care!
