Johnson, Robert L. age 77 of Brook Park, passed away suddenly March 12, 2009. He leaves behind Patricia (nee Paulick), his beloved wife of 54 years. Loving father of Robert (Nelson), Ron (Rana), Rick (Tracy), Linda (Frank) Bova, Kathie (Lee) Brass and Paul (Tracy). Dear brother of Laverne (Larry) Gedeon, Earl-deceased (Shirley), Tom-deceased (Janet) and Jim-deceased (Carol). Cherished Grandfather of 13, and Great Grandfather of 2. Veteran of the US Army–Korean War. The family will receive friends in celebration of Robert's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Sunday 4-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Assumption of Mary Church, Smith Road, Brook Park on Monday at 10:30AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Dad has been gone for 5 years, He may be gone but He is always remembered and never forgotten. His wisdom and life lessons he taught us when we were younger and into our adult lives still apply to our everyday life, Still we mourn and extremely miss him very much! Not a day goes by that we do not talk about him and the effect he had on our family and friends. He so truly had a heart of gold and was fair to everyone across the board. To me he will always be my hero , Dad was man amongst giants. He is within every fiber of our being Still to this day can't figure out why he loved the NY Yankees , HATE THOSE Yankees !
