ROBERT JAMES BUNSEY

age 94 of Sheffield Village Robert is preceded in death by Agnes (nee Humenik) his beloved wife of 72 years. Loving father of Robert J. Jr. (Lucy), Cheryl (Richard) Hahn, Eric (Carol), Susan (Thomas) Allen, Stephanie (David) Wiersma, and Richard (Judy). Cherished grandfather of Kathryn (Kenn), Rebecca (John), Christina (Adam), Michael, Matthew, and Rick (Nadia). Great grandfather of Elliot, Harrison, and Henry. Dear brother of the following deceased: Thomas, Joyce, and Leonard. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to many.

Veteran Merchant Marine (Coast Guard) WWII. Member for 20+ years and President of the Buckeye Mariners Ohio Chapter of the American Merchant Marine Veterans.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Robert’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 41295 N Ridge Rd, Elyria, 44035, on Wednesday at 10AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Avon.
