Schamp, Robert C., age 86 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully June 2, 2009. He leaves behind Edna (nee Nicholas), his beloved wife of 48 years. Loving father of James Lanham, Gary Lanham, Ronald (Zeny) Lanham, and Carol (Sonny) Rose. Dear brother of LaVerne (deceased) Eggert, Jane, Richard (deceased)(Pauline) Schamp. Cherished Grandfather of Dena (Andrew), Scotte, Ronald (Megen), Ramona, and Regina, and Great Grandfather of 7. Beloved uncle of Sharon and Greg Eggert. Veteran US Army WWII, Combat Engineer in the Pacific Theater, Saipan and Tinian.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Robert's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00AM. Interment at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.

Dear Schamp Family, I am so sorry for your loss I cant even begin to know what you are going through at this time. One of the things that I have found to be a great source of comfort is the thoughts found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 Were we see that God is going to bring our loved ones back to life. At Revelation 21:4 We see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we get sick grow old and die. Also at Psalm 37:10,11,29 We see that God is going to get rid of all wicked evil people and only those who are good in his eyes are going to have the chance of living forever here on a paradise earth surrounded by happy healthy people. it is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again i am so sorry for your loss.
