age 91 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025.

She is preceded in death by George Melvin Hasara, her loving husband of 58 years, beloved daughter Diane, dear sons David, Michael, and a newborn son, her parents Henrietta McNeil and Norman Wagner.

Dear sister of Agnes Cooley and Jane Walker (both deceased).

Loving mother of Mary Ann (Craig) Miller and Paul (fiancé Trisha Boloca), and several loving nieces and nephews.

Norma graduated with honors from Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh, PA.  She married her high school sweetheart, George, and followed him overseas, where he was stationed in the Army.  In 1960, they settled in Brook Park, Ohio, where they raised their family.    Norma was a devoted mother and homemaker, and she continued making her well-loved meals and baked goods throughout all of her years.   She shared her joy of music at home, often filling the house with her favorite songs — a joy her children carried into their own lives.

Norma was a devout Catholic and an active member of Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, where she had served as a Catechism teacher and regularly participated in bible study.   She raised her family in the faith, and her faith shone brightly by how she lived her life.

She was also a proud grandma to her grand-dogs Ryder and Griffey (now happily reunited in her lap with her own longtime canine companion, Sparky).

Norma enjoyed traveling across the country on family road trips, bowling, mini golf, and tending to her flowerbeds and landscaping.  She found joy in nature and loved watching and feeding the wildlife in her backyard.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed Sudoku and jigsaw puzzles.   She enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland sports teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Norma was a humble, honest and loving person and was dearly loved by all who were blessed to know her.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Norma’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Thursday, August 28 from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church 6455 Engle Road Brook Park Ohio 44142, on Friday, August 29 at 10:00 AM.
