age 89 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026.

Melvin is preceded in death by Denna, his beloved wife of 27 years.

Devoted Father of Mike Davis (Diane Schneider), Rodney Davis (deceased), Jimmy (Patty) Bunch, Johnny (Lisa) Bunch, and Dianna Bunch (Bob).

Loving Brother of  Frances Wattenbarger, Ray Davis, Pearline Vaughn, and Joann Richeson all deceased.

Cherished Grandfather of Heather, Michael (Molly), Jimmy III, David, Angelo, Heath, Miranda, Erin, and Justin. Great-grandfather of 8.

Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

Melvin loved to play cornhole, especially when he would be in Florida vacationing. He was an avid golfer and woodworker. In the summer, you would see him at the community garden and walking his dog around the block. He was into NASCAR and enjoyed going to Daytona International Speedway. He also enjoyed going to the neighborhood garage sales.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Melvin’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Monday, February 2 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be at Humenik Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, February 3 at 10:30 AM. Interment West Park Cemetery.
