age 82 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024.
Marilyn is preceded in death by Kathleen, Cherished Life Partner of 39 years.
Marilyn was the youngest of the five Vanderlin children.
Devoted Mother of Theresa (Gerald Borling), and Charles (Kimberly). She shared many campfires and ‘camper doughnuts’ with her grandchildren Charles, Roxanne, Scott (Niki), Sean and William (Sarah).
Great Grandmother of Chuckie, Aliyah, Billi, James, Gianni, Jacob, Bryson, River, and Faron.
Loving Sister of Charles, Henry, Phillip, and Nancy all deceased.
Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.
Throughout her life, Marilyn enjoyed “garage sailing”, trivia, White Water Rafting, Hot Air Ballooning, Zip Lining, Casino excursions and passionately
rooting for the Cleveland Browns. She found joy in the company of her
family and friends and worked hard to create lasting memories that will be
cherished forever.
Marilyn lost her battle with cancer. Despite her illness, she remained strong
and resilient, always maintaining a positive attitude and inspiring those
around her with her courage.
Marilyn will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of strength,
kindness and her adventurous spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of
those she touched.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Marilyn’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday, April 17 from 2-6 PM, where Funeral Services will be celebrated at 5:30 PM.
