MARIETTA BITTNER age 89 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully April 09, 2020 while surrounded by family. Marietta is preceded in death by Marshal, her beloved husband of 14 years and her devoted parents George and Mary (Nee Sugan) Vasko. Devoted mother of Robert (Patricia), Bruce, and Craig (deceased) (Cheryl). Loving Grandmother of Robert, Leigh, David, Amanda, Curtis (Jessica), and Carla. Caring sister of the following deceased Eleanor Caprak, Florence Bollo, Lucielle Harwood, and George Vasko.

 

Private family services will be celebrated at Holy Cross Cemetery Wednesday April 15 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers the family’s suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.

Bob and Bruce and Cheryl, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this very sad time. Your mother was not only my aunt and my Godmother, she was a "co-mother" to me from the earliest days of my life. She was so supportive, warm and welcoming. I always felt loved and accepted when I was in her presence. She had a wonderful sense of humor: her jokes and stories were always amusing. She has been and always will be in my prayers.
