Olausen, Margaret L., age 95 of Parma Hts., passed away peacefully on September 13, 2014; Margaret is preceded in death by Harry, her beloved husband of 55 years; Loving mother of Nils (Elise) and Karen (Robert) Barbato; Cherished grandmother of 5 plus great grandchildren;
The family will receive friends in celebration of Margaret’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel,14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, on Tuesday, September 16th from 11-1PM where a Funeral Service will take place at 1PM. Interment at Coe Ridge Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. May the God of all comfort sustain you during this difficult time. I have also found the promises at John 5:28,29 and Rev. 21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death here on the earth forever, to be comforting. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family at this time.

I learned today, Monday, of Margaret's death, through a colleague who saw the obituary. I last visited her on Thursday, Sept. 4, and had visited her regularly every month for almost 5 years. She did know who I was when I was there last. I gave her communion. I had a fondness for Margaret's wit. When I asked how she was she had a pat answer: "My feet smell and my nose runs." I smile about how much she loved to play cards. I remember how proud she was of wearing her pin of the flag of Norway. Many people at Messiah to who I have mentioned her remember her, one even remembers teaching Sunday School with her. "Rest eternal grant her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her."
