LYNN JANE ROONEY (nee Schmidt), age 72 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2017 while surrounded by family. Lynn was a passionate gardener who was especially obsessed with orchids to the point that she amassed a large collection from around the world. She also kept a special place in her heart for her beloved Cleveland Indians. Lynn was the devoted companion of Art Niedzwiecki of over 30 years. Loving mother of Colleen (Gary) Puls, Patrick (Kelly) and Deirdra (Jim). Dear sister of Geraldine Andrews, William (Diana), James (Patti) and Betsy (Charles) Gunter. Cherished grandmother of Megan (Bryan) and Jordan Lynn. Great grandmother of Ellie Mae Lynn.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Lynn’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Monday, June 5th, from 5-8PM where a Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 10:00AM.
