Courey, Lorene G. (nee Patterson), age 69 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2011. She leaves behind James, her beloved husband of 29 years. Loving step-mother of James (Sarah), Gail (Rick) Smith, Daniel (Lorie), and Mark. Dear sister of Etta, Mary, and Pauline – all of Georgia. Cherished aunt of Joyce Noble and James Barrett of Youngstown.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Lorene's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Wednesday March 9th from 5-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Thursday. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
