Leighton, Lillian A. (nee Campbell), age 75 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2012. Lillian was a long-time volunteer of the Berea City School System, helping children with learning disabilities. She initiated Learning Disabilities classes at Brook Park Memorial and Ford Junior High. Lillian is survived by Charles, her beloved husband of 54 years. Loving mother of Charles (Rene), Joseph (Jana), Patrick, Colleen (Paul) Mascarin, and Randy; Dear sister of Elizabeth Licause, Jenny (deceased)(Al) Moss, Frank (deceased) (Dorothy), and the following deceased: Nelson, May and Joseph; Cherished grandmother of Sean, Sara, Alex, Shane, Carisa, Justin, Maura, Cailin, and Amelia.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Lillian's life at the HUMENIK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 14200 Snow Rd. Brook Park, on Wednesday November 14th from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Thursday at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Road, Brook Park. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Joe & the entire Leighton Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mom. She is among the angels now watching over all of us. I can remember going to your house growing up in Brook Park on Sheldon Rd. Your mom always had a smile on her face. She will always be remembered by so many people besides your family.
