KEVIN S. BREEN Age 59 of Westlake, passed away peacefully March 26, 2022 while surrounded by family. Kevin is survived in life by his devoted parents, Ken and Rose (Nee Humenik) Breen. Loving brother of Bonnie (James) DiMarino, Fr. Ken, Margaret (Robert) Weitzel, John (Cathy), Rosemarie (Jeff) Anderson, Brian (Lisa), Callen, and Mark (Lisa). Cherished uncle of 24 nieces and nephews and 10 grand nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends in celebration of Kevin’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 3-5 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ladislas Church,  2345 Bassett Rd., Westlake, OH 44145 Thursday at 10 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  For those who wish, the Family suggests contributions in Kevin’s memory to The National Alliance on Mental Illness.     donate.nami.org

Kevin was the most fun loving, true to the heart brother one could ever have. When I would arm wrestle with him or joke around with him, you knew how much he loved you and cared about you regardless of what was going on in your life. I will always be regretful of the cross he had to bear of mental illness but it has given me a full understanding of those who struggle with it in any form. God loves all of us equally and He inspired us through Kevin to be an even stronger family. RIP my Big Kev
