Kathryn “Katie” P Ritter

KATHRYN “KATIE” P. RITTER age 84 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully June 28, 2020. Kathryn is preceded in death by Harry “Tex”, her beloved husband of 66 years. Loving mother of Bill and Linda (Kevin-deceased) Grady. Dear sister of Generene, Sally, Tony, Joe, Mary, Rosie, John, Lucille, Freda, and Billy. Cherished Nonnie of Matthew (Allison), Nicholas, Billy, and baby Everett on the way. Katie was a devoted wife and a loving stay at home mother. Throughout her life, she worked for the State Highway Patrol as a driver’s license examiner, and later as a teacher’s aid for kindergarten at St. Vincent de Paul in Cleveland. She was also a Eucharistic Minister, and delivered the Host to the sick. Katie was an active volunteer in her community, teaching English as a Second Language for Project Learn, serving Meals on Wheels, and teaching PSR at St. Vincent de Paul.

All services will be private. For those who wish, the family suggests flowers be sent to Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park 44142 on Wednesday, July 1^st.
