age 85 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026.

Katherine is preceded in death by Michael, her beloved husband of 57 years.

Devoted Mother of Beth (Michael) Waffen, Erin (Brad) Steinhagen, and Michael.

Loving Sister of James Neforos, John (Kathy) Neforos, and Georgia (Gil-deceased) Buresti.

Cherished Grandmother of Dylan Waffen, Anna Steinhagen, and Sara Steinhagen.

Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 610 Ladies Auxiliary.

We will miss her sense of humor and her sassiness.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Katherine’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd. Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday, February 4th, from 3-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church 5891 Ridge Road, Parma Ohio 44129 on Thursday, February 5, at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
