Karen Marie Davila (formly Melucci), age 63 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024. Karen is survived by her loving life partner of 23 years, Rick; her father Salvatore (Marilyn-deceased) Melucci; her brother, Steven; her two children, Christopher (Stephanie) and Alexandra; and her beloved grandchildren, Carson and Avery. Karen is also remembered by her close circle of dear friends and a large extended family, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Karen lived a life full of passion and adventure. Together with Rick, she explored the world, often on their Harley Davidson motorcycle, always seeking new destinations. She loved the thrill of the open road and the joy of traveling. In her downtime, Karen enjoyed being Cleveland’s biggest sports fan, loved her music live and in person, and gathering with loved ones. One of her most treasured places was the family camp at Panther Lake, where she found joy in spending time together with family year after year. Karen valued togetherness above all, and her warmth and love left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Her spirit and zest for life will be missed deeply, but her legacy of love and connection will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. All services will be private.
Last Breath
The sky has opened for you to go home
May you sore to the heavens where you’ll never be alone
Go ride the highways and never be afraid
Lay down in the fields finding peace upon where you laid
Walk with me by my side and share my final days
Please keep me clear and steady to the end of my golden rays
Once again we’ll be together to ride that golden road
No pain, no hurt, or despair will be our final load
Until that time when we will ride
Be at peaceful rest in the sun
Then I will join you on the road
Where we shall remain as one
