June Lee Laux

Date of Death: March 28, 2011

Laux, June Lee (nee Rutchmann), age 77 entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2011 after an extended illness. Born in St. Louis on November 13.1933, she was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Blanche Rutchmann, sister Joyce DiNatale and grandson Justin Wilkinson. She is survived by Richard, her loving husband of 56 years and dear sister-in-law Joan Scheutzow. Loving mother of Michael (Kathy) Laux of Flushing MI, Barbara (Kevin) Wohlever of Columbus, and Brenda (Jay) Wilkinson of Fairview Park. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Mark Wohlever, and Megan, Michael, and Jared Wilkinson. She is retired from the Berea Schools after more than 20 years of service. Member of the First Congregational UCC of Berea.

Friends may call at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, OH on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10AM. Interment at Woodvale Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd, Suite 260, Cleveland, OH 44131.

Dear Laux Family, I just wanted to offer my sincere condolences for your loss. Although this is a difficult time may you find solace and peace in the loving arms of family and friends. I too recently lost someone I held dear and what I found to be a great source of comfort were the passages found at John 5:28,29 which speaks of the resurrection hope as well as Rev. 21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death forever. Dear Barb and family. Tammy and I send our condolences on the passing of your mother. I remember from the few times we met, many years ago, that she was a very warm and loving person. I remember coming to your house near the airport and June offering freshly baked cookies and milk to Kevin and me. I know the memories of your mom will live forever and I hope they bring a smile to your face. My heart aches for you all. May God bless you and comfort you now and always.
