Date of Death: October 21, 2012

Chaney, Joyce Frances (nee Helm), age 83 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband George of 58 years. Loving mother of Christine Hearns, Douglas (Peggy), George (Beverly), Michael and Steven; Dear sister of Marcey (deceased), and lifelong friend of Helyn Johnston and Donna Sotak; Cherished grandmother of Robert Hearns (deceased), Caroline (Thomas) Foster, Alyson, Hannah, Spencer and Eric.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Joyce's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on Wednesday October 24th from 4-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held at 7:30PM.

Dear Chaney Family, I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences at his time. Something that I have found to be a great source of comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that there is going to be a resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death. Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that soon God is going to do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 as well as Revelation 21:4. In these verses we see that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death.
