Gary, we are so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your brother. Nothing really helps at this time, but these few words say the world about our loved ones.
May this poem help a little in the days to come, and our prayers & thoughts our with you.
Remember me in quiet days when raindrops whisper on your pane, but in your memories have no grief, just let the joy we knew remain.
Remember me when evening stars, look down on you with steadfast eyes, Remember me if once you wake to catch a glimpse of a red sunrise. And when your thoughts do turn to me, know that I would not have to cry. But live for me and laugh for me.
For when you are happy so am I.
Remember an old joke we shared. ( I bet there were plenty )
Think of me when you are glad, and while you live, I shall not die.
Gary, we were very sorry to hear about Joe. He was such a good person. He had a lot of problems, but seem to handle them well. The last time John and I visited with him, we talked about so many things and really enjoyed spending some time with him. It brought back so many memories. I believe he is now with your Mother and I know he is happy.
