Broda, Joseph J., age 87 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2015 while surrounded by family. Joseph is preceded in death by Lenore J. (nee Gawryszewski) his beloved wife of 59 years; Loving father of Beth Ann (Tim) Roshetko, Michelle (Karl) Kuhlman, and Leslie (Borys) Pakush; Dear brother of the following deceased: Cecilia Jakubowski, Stanley, John, Edward, Helen Matlak, and Ted; Cherished grandfather of Hannah and Timothy Roshetko; Maksym and Natalia Pakush.

Veteran US Navy.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Joseph’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, on Sunday October 4th, from 1-5PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Monday at Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, the family requests contributions to the Holy Name Society of Mary Queen of the Apostles, 6455 Engle Road, Brook Park.

It is with my deepest sympathy that I express my regret at the loss of your loved one.  God grant you His most perfect peace during this most difficult time in your life and during your loss.  Rest assured, that the Blessed Mother was there to greet him personally.  Joe has been a regular participant at the Wednesday Rosary offered at Noon at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church.  He was always the solid rock that I would look for sitting to the rear of the church, in the last row, every Wednesday.  His silent nature spoke volumes to all of us.  We just began our 10th yea of the Rosary on September 6th. Rest assured that his 10 years of prayers will benefit all. God Bless you and your family!

Dear Beth Ann, Shelly, Leslie and family, we were so shocked by the passing of your dad. We want you all to know we share your lose and know you girls will be strong, supporting each other and helping the young ones understand the meaning of losing a dad, and grandpa. Love each other give your hurt and sorrow to God and he will carry you through to a brighter and happier time. Recall the good times and cherish the memories, and Joe will live on in your hearts.
