JOSEPH BARNA Age 94 of Parma Hts, passed away peacefully May 29, 2021. Joseph is preceded in death by Margaret, his beloved wife of 62 years. Loving father of Barbara (Mario-deceased) Ortiz, Joseph (Carmen) and David (Bonnie). Dear brother of John (deceased). Cherished grandfather of Laura (Karl), James, Katie (deceased) (Brian), Aaron, Logan, Johnny and Evan, great-grandfather of Abby.
Veteran of the US Air Force WWII. Member of VFW Post 1974 of Parma. Joseph retired from J&L/LTV Steel after 37 year of faithful service.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Joseph’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday June 02, 2021 from 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Catholic Church 12700 Pearl Road Strongsville, OH, 44136 Thursday at 10 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

We feel sad to know of your huge loss! I checked the Gazette and Plain Dealer but never saw info, so we thought the wake and funeral would be over the weekend. After 10:00 pm Thursday I saw that we missed both important events!! Truly, we would have been there as we are in Brunswick. Our sincere apologies and condolences to Barb and your brothers!

Dave/Bonnie and boys (men, really ) ~ Ray and I have been beside ourselves for the past several weeks and even more so after this weekend. Our hearts are truly aching. Pop was such an awesome man, and neighbor and it was an honor to have known him, share stories with him and just spend time with him in the summer months. Oh how he will be missed.
