JOHN    G.   BONK passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family September 20, 2021. Devoted son of the late Peter and Janet Bonk. Loving Husband of Mary Kay. Dear brother of Peter (Kim), Christopher (Kathleen), and Susan (Keith). Son in law of Robert and Lou Ella Smith. Brother-in-law of Bobby. Cherished Step-Father, Grandfather and Uncle. John enjoyed life. He was a successful entrepreneur. He “Loved Mary Kay more than life”.  He enjoyed music, the ocean, bargain shopping, carpentry, and being with family and friends.

 

The family will receive friends in celebration of John’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Friday September 24, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church 6455 Engle Rd, Brook Park 44142 Saturday at 9:30 AM.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH SATURDAY FOR 9:30 MASS. MASKS MANDATORY NO EXCEPTIONS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, American Cancer society and Continuum Care Hospice.
