Mary and Paul Templeton left a message on August 21, 2014:
Deepest sympathy t the family and friends of John Anthony Oinos. We have known several members of the Oinos extended family for many years. Special concolences to John's sister Edna Oinos Dillon who served as a Faculty member of English at West Virginia University and was a colleague of my mother Mary Templeton who also was a Professor of Agricultural Economics. having known Edna many years. In fact, both Edna and my mother are Soroptimist International sisters and I have also known Edna since being a student and now graduate of West Virginia University and later a staff member. Additionally, I have been a classmate  ( Morgantown High School Class of 1976)of two of John's other relatives niece Valerie Oinos Head and nephew David Oinos.  Both my mother and I extend our thoughts and prayers to each of you and keep you in them in the days ahead. Take comfort in knowing so many others share your loss and will continue to keep John's memory alive by exchanging recollections of him and his experiences, and in so doing will also bring some comfort as all celebrate the life well lived. Blessings to each and all of the Oinos family at this time.
