I've known Joanie and her family since I was a kid and she lived next door to Aunt Red. Joanie was a good friend who knew how to have fun and enjoy life. One of my best memories is when she, Aunt Red, and I went to the Horseshoe casino in downtown Cleveland. We stayed up into the wee hours in her hotel room having a few drinks, talking about things that happened to us over the years, and how we loved and treasured the time we spent together. I miss you already Joanie. I'll see you on the other side, girlfriend. Love, Cheryl

To my Adoped mother (she misspelled the word “adopted” so it was a joke when I called her that) who I’ve known, treasured, and loved since I was a little girl. Laura, Johnny, and Mark are like my brothers and sister. John Gentile was like my father after my own father passed away. So many beautiful memories - I can’t possibly write them all down. We are an extended family-intertwined into one. Thank you for all the love, support, and encouragement you have given me all these years. I will miss you but will see you again when it’s my time to be called home. No more pain or suffering. Go run into the Saviors arms. Love to you and your family!!

It was just a couple of weeks ago we were laughing over past memories of 50 years ago. I will miss those conversations we had. I'm so sorry for your loss Laura, Johnny, Mark & Georgene! I have nothing but good memories of your mom & sister. You're all in my prayers.
