Chester, Joan A. (nee Soiberg), age 85 of Fairview Park passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016, while surrounded by family. Joan is preceded in death by Fred L., her beloved husband of 35 years. Daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Soiberg. Loving mother of Barbara Bell of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Dear sister of Eugene (deceased), sister-in-law of Marge Soiberg and sister of Barbara Holloway (deceased). Aunt to Constance Soiberg, Betty Jean Groene, Carol Schab and Ronald (deceased). Great aunt to many, known as “Aunt Joans”. She leaves behind close friends Susan LeBute and Mary Speck. Former aunt of Jack, Diane, Ken, Marty and Keith.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Joan’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Friday, December 2nd from 10AM-12PM where a Funeral Service will take place at 12 PM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. For those who wish, the family suggest contributions be made to the Billy Graham Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC, 28201 or to Moody Bible Institute, 820 N. LaSalle Blvd., Chicago, IL 60610.
