Obituary

JEANNE MABEL MILLER

age 94 of Roaming Shores, OH, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021, while surrounded by family. Devoted daughter to the late Hans & Mabel (nee Gustavson) Christensen. Jeanne is preceded in death by Harry, her beloved husband of 56 years. Loving Mother of Karl (Lana), Nancy Frognowski, Dianne (Steve) Sabovik, Cheryl (Tom) Palmer, Melanie (Duane) Coseo, and Lynne Cassano (deceased). Dearest Sister of Ruth (Ken deceased) Larson and John “Jack” (Julie) both deceased. Cherished Grandmother of Brian, Nicole, Jeff (Heather), Chris (Candice), Jenni (Zach), Zac, Danny (Brittany), Michelle (Mike), Stephen, Brad (Gillian), Greg, Nick (Haleigh), Lauren (Mike), Hansen, Jacob, and Erika. Great Grandmother of Savannah, Connor, Kristen, Caleigh, Lily, Julie, Adelynne, Wesley, Megan, Christian, Luke, Bodie, and Jack. Dear Sister-in-law of Norma Miller (Rollie deceased). Aunt to many, and friend to all.

A loving and caring wife, Jeanne was endlessly devoted to raising her six children and lovingly grandmothering her 16 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. Her sharp wit, ever-present smile and warm, genuine and kindhearted soul instantly endeared her to everyone she met, immediately winning their affection and drawing them to her.

Jeanne was a born and bred Green Bay Packers fan. She was proud of her Danish & Swedish heritage, a self-proclaimed “Viking”, with a love of gardening and the open waters. However, nothing exceeded her complete and totally focused dedication to her role as a beloved Mom. She was an angel of a lady and a true family matriarch!

I remember every Saturday evening, we would watch the Lawrence Welk show. Such a smile would come across her face, and her little feet would just be moving and moving. So very sweet. I have missed her so much. I know she’s smiling up there, I know it.
