JEAN M. ZALECKI (NEE Kus) age 70 lifelong resident Brook Park, passed away January 01, 2022. Beloved wife of Edward R. Devoted Mother of Cheryl Erickson (Kevin), Nina Scharf (Josh) and Thomas. Cherished Grandmother of Noah and Ethan. Dear Sister of Karen Decker (Jerry) (both deceased), Don Kus (Shirley), Patricia Weisman (Harold), Janet Joyce (Tim). Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Loved to travel with family, her grandchildren were her world. She also enjoyed lunch dates with her close friends.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Jean’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday January 05, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church 6455 Engle Rd. Brook Park, OH 44142 Thursday at 9:30 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH FOR 9:30 MASS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Metavivor.org Masks required for visitation and Mass.

Jean was a great coworker and person, so sorry for her family. Praying for you all

I'm going to miss you Jeannie! Always so thoughtful and kind, truly one of God's angels. I wish we would have had that lunch where we would have worn the t shirts you had made up celebrating our 70th birthdays. Love you and miss you.

I am heartbroken hearing about the loss of a truly wonderful dear sweet friend! A friend, whom I am so glad I got to know better through all our trip, luncheons and dinners. Love you Jeannie!

So hard to lose your best friend. Jean and I have been together since grade school. I will miss her terribly. I am sorry she cannot spend more time with all those who loved her.

We have so many memories of Jean attending her grandsons sports events and participating in their school activities. She loved being a part of their lives and community. She will be extremely missed.

We are all saddended by the sudden loss of Jean. She will always be remembered, especially by Elaine Bennett as "one of my Kus kids". Our sympathies to all family and friends.
