Dear Duane, Vicki, Ken, Jeanne & June, I just learned of Jan's "Graduation to Heaven" yesterday and felt overwhelmed by your loss, and sad that I wasn't able to pray for you then, when you needed it the most. You know that I was Best Man in your parents wedding, and that your Dad was Best Man when I got married. We all shared the grief when your Dad died so young, but also shared the Joy when Jan met and married Duane. Jan was blessed to have two wonderful husbands in her life. Many people have commented about Jan's sincere kindness, welcoming happy smile, and laughter, and I know she also had strong Faith in God. Jan had all those traits when I first met her in High School, and they grew stronger as she went through life. My wife Regina and I will be praying for all of you daily. With Love, Mike Thomas

My heart is full of sadness over your loss of Jan. She was a very sincere person, full of love..May this verse from the Bible give you hope. My deepest sympathy, " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "LOOK! The tent of God is with mankind and he will reside with them and they will be his peoples. Jan was a kind, faithful, welcoming person who always had a smile to offer me and my daughter. I’m blessed to have known her. Duane and family, may God bless you with comfort and healing. ❤️??

Duane, Vick and Kenny, So Sorry To Hear Of Jan's passing. She was such a special lady. I remember when you all first moved into the old neighborhood. Many memories over the years. I always enjoyed Jan's laugh. So real and sincere. May the Lord look over all of you during this tough time.

Duane, Vicki and Kenny...I am so sorry for your loss. All I keep thinking about are all the memories I have of hanging out with all of you as a kid with my parents. Even though it has been years since I saw Aunt Jan, I thought about all of you a lot. She was always a great God mother to me and I will never forget her smile and laugh. Please accept my sincerest condolences. She was a great lady and will be missed.

As a kid you were all an extension of my family. My heart brakes for you guys. I love you all. So sorry.

Duane and family, please accept my deepest sympathies on the death of Jan. She was such a gift to our parish. The pain you feel from Jan's death is the pain of having loved her and having been loved by her. I pray that your love and hers will overcome your grief and fill you with joyful and life giving memories.

Our choir especially will carry your songs in our hearts. We are sad but know Heaven celebrates.

So sorry to say good bye, Jan, after such a short but rich encounter. My heart goes out to your loved ones as we long, like Jesus, for the time when all are one. I shall miss your laughter and sincerity, your grace and your strength. Counting on you to continue as my "prayer partner" to get me through. What a sad loss for us, but a wonderful celebration in heaven. We have been singing together for 40 years. I will miss Jan's voice and her laugh, and the spark she always added to a room. And her kindness and compassion. My most sincere condolences to all of Jan's family.

Goodbye my beautiful, sweet,loyal, fiesty friend. You made the world a better place. I know you are in Heaven dancing in your three and a half high ?

Over the 13 years that I have know Jan and Duane and their wonderful family I have seen only love and kindness. Jan was a incredibly sweet person and I was very fortunate to have known her. Always a smile and a cheerful disposition. My thoughts go out to Duane and the entire family during this difficult time.
