All the Winkler Family, The world needs more James Winklers and I know he’ll be so missed my many including me. I’ll always remember his beautiful singing voice in church and at family gatherings. He was always kind, loving and affectionate and fun to dance with at weddings. A happy memory is meeting Jim and Rose at Honey Hut for ice cream where you could find them after church on Sundays. My deepest sympathies. Love, Victoria Petersen

My deepest sympathies to the family. I will remember “Mr. Winks” as always having a smile on his face, ready to have a cold beer, and well armed with a few, fresh, inappropriate jokes to tell! Growing up across the street and being good friends with Jimmy from age 13, I had a lot of interaction with Jim whether it was him helping us deliver the Plain Dealer paper on cold, snowy winter mornings and then having breakfast at “Kenny Kings” at Southland, playing and/or watching many, many baseball games, commiserating over the Browns, or just doing stuff in the neighborhood, he was a favorite of mine. He will be missed. Allen Osmialowski
