Speigal, Helen J. (nee Yurkrenic), age 82 of Brook Park, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2011. She was born in Uniontown, PA on April 3, 1929 to the late Vasil and Anna (nee Krivenra) Yurkncincoz, her loving parents. Devoted wife of the late James, her beloved husband of 63 years. Loving mother of Thomas (Judy), Charles (Diane), Linda (John) Zakel, and James (Donna). Dear sister of Mary (Charles) Rosach, John (Genevieve) Yurkrenic, Ann (Steve) Miskanin, and George (Margaret) Yurkrenic (all deceased). Helen devoted her life to her children, her 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Helen's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Road. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
