Merker, Gibert J. age 69 of Brook Park passed away peacefully on February 7, 2009. He is survived by Patricia (Nee Ferko), his loving wife. Devoted father of Lynne (Bill), Tracy, and Gary (Amy). Dear brother of Eugene (Maryann), Thomas-deceased (Delores), Esther-deceased (Dell) Cook, and Paul and John both deceased. Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Kaleigh, Matthew, Kelli, Gunnar, and great-grandfather of Trebor. The family will receive friends in celebration of Gilbert's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Tuesday at 3-5 and 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Assumption of Mary Church, Smith Road, Brook Park, on Wednesday at 10:00AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
