Grospitch, Geraldine “Gerri” A. (nee Halloran) age 64 of Medina (formerly of Brook Park), passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on May 10, 2014; Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert Emmett Halloran and Margaret Mary (nee Bright); Gerri is survived in life by Theodore J., her beloved husband of 10 years; Loving mother of Tony (Nicole Suchy) Jake; Step mother of Trish Oliver and Ted Grospitch Jr.; Dear sister of Michael James (Lynn) Halloran; Cherished “Grandma Gerri” of Travis and Raegan; Former wife of the late Dennis W. Perrien Sr.; Former wife of the late Thomas A. Jake; Avid Cleveland Indians & Browns fan, loved casino slots play & trips to Arizona. Beloved pet momma to Tootsie, Animal lover forever. She is a member of American Legion Auxillary Post 91 Berea, Life member of VFW Auxiliary Post 6676 Berea-Brook Park.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Gerri's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, on Thursday May 15 from 2-4 and 6-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma on Friday at 11:30AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations made in Gerri's name can be made to Parma Animal Shelter or Berea ARF Rescue Funds.
