age 70 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2023.
George is Survived in Life by Barbara, his beloved wife of 36 years.
Devoted Father of George (Christina), Salvatore, Matthew Tyler, Angela (Shawn).
Loving Brother of Denise (John) Karpac.
Cherished Grandfather of 6.
George started his career at B&L Radiator at the age of 17. He led a very active lifestyle. Him and his first wife, Stephanie Marie Liberty welcomed his firstborn, George Giuseppe. He then went on to work at Master Pizza, where he met Joe Christopher, which taught him the pizza business. From there George went onto having his own franchise of Master Pizza. George also had a body and mechanic shop. During this time his son, Salvatore Anthony Michael was born. George went on to meet the love of his life, Barbara Sholtis. George welcomed Barb’s son, Matthew Allen with open arms and raised him as if he was his own son. George and Barb would then welcome the baby girl that George always wanted, Angela Rachael. George would also have a career at Lake Erie Screw, but would eventually retire from SD&L in 2015. Pizza must have ran in his blood because after retirement he was known as the “Dough Boy” for making the dough at Arturo’s Bar and Grill. George enjoyed rebuilding cars, going to his “Pal’s” cottage to ride dirt bikes with his kids, and try to catch a bigger fish than Barb. He was most often able to be found in his garage where he was sipping on a cold beer with his wife or one of his best friends. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends in celebration of George’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Monday, August 28 from 4-8 PM, where Funeral Services will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The “V” Foundation for Cancer Research.
