age 89 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026.

Fred is survived in Life by Judy, his beloved wife of 57 years, and preceded in death by his loving parents, Harlan and Sophia Loomis.

Loving brother of Rita Loomis (deceased).

Beloved Uncle and Great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Fred was a kind, loving man who was a wonderful artist but never thought he was good enough. He was quiet but was always able to talk with anyone about current events, books, and movies. He was devoted all of his life to his beloved “Bird”, wife Judy, and her entire family, and loved his nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and great-nephews like they were his own and like the children he could never have. He was an animal lover and adored all children, who knew immediately upon being with him that he related well with them.

He was very proud of his service in the Navy, in which he was in naval intelligence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church 6455 Engle Road, Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday, September 23, at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
