Crook, Francis J., Jr., age 89 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline L. Crook (nee McCarthy). Dear father of Francis J., III, Lawrence (Karen), Margaret (David) Wolfe, Jeannine (Martin) Hoffmann, Joseph (Pat), and the late Martin. Dear brother of Donald Crook of Loveland Co., and Jean Crook of Hornell NY; Cherished grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 9. Veteran US Navy WWII. Francis worked at Conrail Railroad for 50 years. In his retirement, he worked as a VISTA tax preparer for 20 years.
The family will gather in celebration of Francis' life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd. on Wednesday July 24th from 5-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Road, Parma Hts. Inurnment on Saturday at Holy Cross Cemetery.
