Francis Eugene Seper, 69, of 184 Bull Yard Road, Moyock, NC died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the Currituck House, Moyock. Mr. Seper was born November 7, 1944 in Uniontown, PA to the late Joseph John Seper and the late Edna Cecelia Higgins Seper and was the widower of the late Judith Payne Seper. Mr. Seper retired from the US Navy as a Master Chief after 22 years of service. He was a decorated veteran of the Viet Nam War where he was awarded numerous medals of which included the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Service Medal with Device, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Sea Service Medal and the Air Medal. He was a member of the VFW.
He is survived by a daughter, Margie S. Hunter and husband Daniel of Leesburg, VA, a son Frank E. Seper and wife, Lisa of Moyock, NC; three sisters, Ann Godinsky, Dorothy Parker both of Florida and Evelyn Shaft of Ohio. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Bryan Seper of Moyock, NC and Danielle Hunter of Leesburg, VA.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Francis' life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd. Brook Park, on Tuesday November 19 from 6-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery
