Elizabeth Ann Joniec “nee McGuire”

age 85 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026.

Elizabeth was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on December 15, 1940 and is preceded in death by her loving parents, the late LeRoy and Ann McGuire.

Devoted Mother of Tammy (Bill) Murphy, and Christopher (Kara) Joniec, and Jeffery Joniec (deceased).

Loving Sister of Paul McGuire (deceased), Robert (deceased) (Karen) McGuire, and Jean McGuire-Robb.

Cherished Grandmother of Joshua (Julian) Campbell, Daniel (Lilly) Campbell, Laura Beth Campbell, Jonathan Joniec, and Thomas Joniec.

Aunt to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

Elizabeth, “Beth”, was a real estate agent for over 30 years. She later worked in a call center selling over the phone. She truly enjoyed the gift of gab and selling. Another love of hers was being outside in the yard in the summer. She loved laying out in the sun, gardening, and particularly loved planting flowers. Each year, she would plant something new and wait to see it bloom the next year. Above all, her greatest love was her children and grandchildren. They were her pride and joy in life. Beth loved spending time with them and shopping, shopping, shopping to buy things for them. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was also known for her love of all things chocolate!

A small private ceremony will be held for family only in celebration of Elizabeth’s life, followed by the Interment at Woodvale Cemetery.
