Edward H. Brown Jr. of Ann Arbor, MI passed away at home with his family by his side on September 1, 2014. He was born on January 2, 1926 to Edward H. Brown Sr. and Helen A. (Danielson) Brown in Dover, N. J. He married the love of his life, Shirley M. Klopp on October 11, 1952 in Put-in-Bay, Ohio and they shared 61 years together. Edward was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Ann Arbor, the American Legion and Kiwanis. He was a proud World War II Air Force veteran. Edward received his Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University, his Masters of Science from the Ohio State University. Before his retirement Ed was employed as a Fisheries Research Biologist for the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service Dept. of Interior at which Ed received numerous awards for his research. Ed is survived by his wife, Shirley Brown, daughters; Lista Brown-Foytik (Chuck), Cyndy Brown-Carlson (Len), Jeny Brown (Dr. Wayne Marasco), and Lesley Brown (Howard Gussis), and adored by his 6 granddaughters. Brothers; Joel (Chun) Brown, Jerry (Lorraine) Brown, Jim (Mary) Brown, Robert Brown, and sister Barbara Vincent.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Edward's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on September 6, 2014 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. with a prayer service at 2:00. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
