So saddened by the loss of a great friend. Mr. Manning was like a best friend to me , we always did things together while I grew up in the house behind his. I first meet Mr manning around the age of 7. He always invited me to go on road trips with him and his lovely wife who passed a couple years ago . Mr manning would drive me to school on days that it was to cold or snowy to walk , he would take me in the yard and show me how to do things or I would go over to his house and help him with anything that ever need help with !!! I remember he would invite me over for dinner all the time , him and the wife always had something new for me to try. I can remember the year we were standing in the kitchen and mrs manning pulled out a bunch of cookies and gave them to me , I remember her saying she used to make them for her kids all the time and since they were all grown up and had there own life’s , I somewhat filled in , every year when it started to get cold out and get close to the holidays mrs manning would make a bunch of cookies for me !!! Mr manning and I would stand in the kitchen and drink are coffee and he would talk to me about the how he grew up and what the wars were like , what our city looked like before they added the highway. I am forever going to miss you And forever going to cherish these memories , two beautiful souls who have lived life to the fullest and two beautiful souls who taught me many thing about what a family is and what friends are and I forever consider both my grandparents. R.i.p Mr manning /grandpa forever loved and forever missed ❤️ Thank you for all these wonderful years of friendship. Love your favorite Neighboor hood kid❤️
