Lavely, Dudley E., Jr., age 77 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on December 17, 2011. Dudley is preceded in death by his beloved wife Lois and dear parents Dudley, Sr. and Velma (nee Williams). Loving father of Linda (Greg) McCullough, Debra (Tom) Lavely-Planisek, and Catherine (Dean) Lockhart. Dear brother of Paul (Sherrill) and Roy (Sandy). Cherished grandfather of David, Jeff, Ryan, Zach, Brittany, Courtney, Megan, and Michael. Great grandfather of 2.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Dudley's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Private Funeral Services and Committal will be held on Thursday. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions to Fairview Lutheran Foundation, 20545 Center Ridge Road, Suite 448, Rocky River, OH 44116 in Dudley's memory. Memorial Services will be held at Middleburg Heights Community Church, 7165 Big Creek Parkway (corner of Bagley Road and Big Creek Parkway) at a later date. Dear Lavely Family, I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 as well as Revelation 21:4. In these verses we see that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death.
