age (87) of Parma Heights, Ohio passed peacefully with her family at her side in the afternoon of September 23, 2024. She joins her husband Ronald, siblings Donald and Mary Ann, and daughter Karin in heaven. In her many and beautiful years, she danced, she traveled, and she spread her infectious joy in all the corners of her life. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by three children: Marcie, Lynn, and Mark. She was “mom” to all their friends, a testament to her love and her ability to make everywhere feel like home. Her family was her life and she always showed it. Even in the last years of her life, she was filled with a young spirit, blowing raspberries at her kids and dancing on tables.

She will be remembered by her eight grandchildren: Jamie, Kyle, Kaitlyn [Aldo], Kaleigh, Natalie, Bobby, Kat, and Michael. They cherish the way she played with them, laughed with them, wrestled with them, and kept a safe space for them in her home. They will remember her witch costumes (complete with the best witch laugh they’ve ever heard), her quick wit (and sass), and the recipes that she’s passed down to them. From hockey games to dance recitals to choir concerts, she was always there to cheer her loved ones on.

She also had the blessing of two great-grandchildren: Nolan and Caden. Her memory as “Big Grandma” will live on in them.

Donna was full of strength, love, and a sassy personality. She will be loved and missed by all who had the joy of meeting her.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Donna’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Monday, September 30 from 3-7 PM, where Funeral Services will be celebrated at 6:30 PM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery Private Family Service.
