Donald Lee Wright, (age 77), passed away Saturday October 6th, 2018, with family at his side. Don was born 05/24/1941, in Cleveland, OH to Helen (Barrick) and James Lee Wright. He graduated Parma Senior High School in 1959. He joined the Ohio National Guard in 1965 as a radio operator. He was a licensed ham radio operator, using the handle of K8DJD0. He was an active person who, amoung various activities, loved rollerskating at Brookpark Skateland, bowling, and later in life, he found passion in ballroom dancing where he met some really wonderful people. He was a highly intellectual person, with a unique and wonderful sense of humor. Don was highly determined to figure out how to communicate with E.T, and loved looking at the stars. He owned his own company writing programs for plating lines, and programs for friends. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Veneziano, his son, Christopher (Kelly) Wright, and his 6 grandchildren, Christina, Terry, and Melissa Nahrstedt, Brooke Zerger, Corey and Katey Wright, and his “adopted” granddaughter Hevan Hartman. We will all miss his “Dad” jokes.

To Patti and the Wright Family, So very sorry for your loss. We were so shocked to hear of his passing. My husband Bob so looked up to his Uncle, and said in the early years, he was like a big brother to him.
