Aunt Delores will be very missed. As a child, all my cousins and I loved it when Aunt Delores and family came to Michigan. It always meant a fun family gathering would occur. I loved it visiting her in Cleveland, as well as her house was always so cool. She was the cool mom who persuaded my mom to allow us to do something, like being able to wear our hair down and not always in braids. As an adult, I would see every spring and or summer as my mom and her would come to my house. They were there to house and dog sit or sometimes kid sit as well to help me out. As time when on, it was too hard for my mom and aunt Delores to visit plus I moved further away as well. I always knew not call my mom from about 10:30-1:30 because somewhere in that time frame was my mom’s and aunt Delores daily talk time. I usually knew how aunt Delores was doing via mom. As my mom illness became worse and aunt Delores too. The calls still happened but not as much. Aunt Delores was a wonderful woman, friend, sister and aunt to all. You will be greatly missed, remembered very fondly by all. Love you ❤️ Rest In Peace now with Uncle Jim.
