Bemer, Constance “Connie” Viola (nee Polca) age 82 of Parma, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2015; Connie is preceded in death by Joseph, her beloved husband of 53 years; Loving mother of Bonnie (Gil) DeWind, Debbie (Dave) Mucha and Terrie (Cliff) Bennett; Beloved sister of Daniel (Rita) Polca, Michael (Sue) Polca and Eleanor (Eric) Randall with numerous nieces and nephews; Cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Drew) Byrd, Brian Kraemer and Ashley Mucha; A devoted Valley Forge staff member, she enjoyed playing piano, gardening and being an avid member of Red Hat Ladies Society;
The family will receive friends in celebration of Connie’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, on Sunday November 1, from 1-4 PM. A Funeral Service will take place at Divinity Lutheran Church, Parma Hts., on Monday at 9:30 AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to: Divinity Lutheran Church Women.
