age 86 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023.

Charles is preceded in death by Delene, his beloved wife.

Devoted Father of Randy (Debbie), and Dan (Sonia).

Loving Brother of Judy, Gary, and Carla all deceased.

Cherished Grandfather of Hannah, Jonathan, Luke, Grace (Alex) and Daniel.

Charles was a Colorful Character a one of a kind. He served his Country in the Navy on the USS Wisconsin BB64 it is a museum in Norfolk, VA. Charles wrote an Essay titled “She Sails Again” It’s about the Battleship being recommissioned in the 1980’s after being in storage for 40 years. The Essay was submitted to President Reagan and then entered into President Reagan’s Library. Charles also owned several businesses here in the Cleveland area through the years. He was a past member of the City Club, Rotary Club of N. Olmsted, Edgewater Yacht Club, and various Navel Ship Reunion and Preservation organizations. We are proud to have him as our Father and Grandfather!

The family will receive friends in celebration of Charles’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on August 29 from 4-8 PM, where Funeral Services will be celebrated at 7 PM. Interment on Wednesday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 12:15 HRS.
